Construction on a stunning new Chabad House in the Indian town of Manali is rapidly moving forward.
Thousands of Israeli backpackers frequent the north Indian town every year.
Up until now, the Chabad House had no permanent dwelling, instead renting out facilities from locals, often having to relocate.
The new modern building , an anomaly for the Indian town, will house a Shul, Kosher restaurant, visiting center, and Mikvah.
Manali Shliach Rabbi Yaakov Shatz told Chabad Info that he plans on having the Mikvah operational yet before Shavuos.
